All in a smile

You said it all in your smile.
The way you talk to others
The way people radiate around you
Your smile is the highlight of my day
It is the epitome of all things wonderful.

People may talk
You may listen
but don't believe
everything you hear.
They're mindless
busybodies,
living life to
degrade others.
People may talk
You may listen
but please
believe in nothing
that you'll hear.
Talks are cheap
Action speaks louder
show me you like me
the way I like you
Give me a sign
some kind of hint
proving to me
I'm not alone
Prove to me
It's not one sided
Prove to me
You feel the same way too
Talks are cheap
Actions speaks louder.

More Than a Thousand Words

Your smile tells more
than a thousand words.
Giving me hope that
one day I'll be yours.
That smile says everything
while saying nothing at all.

When I close my eyes all I see is you
my mind wanders only towards you.
You are my life
You are my world.
I want to glorify your name.
Lord you are my everything.

Leaving everything behind,
to start a new life
to face the unknown
filled with obstacles
and adventures.
Never will I forget
sweet memories
of the ones who helped me
along the way.
With faith and strength in the Lord,
everything will be alright.

The real me

I am what I am
Accept me for who I am
Not for the person you expect me to be
A person who existed in your past,
someone whose quietness, shyness and insecurities always gets in the way
I am what I am, and who I am is now what I am
I cannot erase my past but can only change my future.
I came with baggage, good and bad
Mysteries that no one knows,
secrets that reveals itself when the time is right
What I am is who I am
Who I want to be is a better version of my past
A person who strives to work hard and succeed in life
someone who never gives up, and never surrenders
someone who has faith that life will always turn itself around for the better
someone who puts her security in the Lord
I am what I am
Accept me for who I am
to figure out the real me
